Welcome to Preez IQ ("Platform", "Service", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Preez IQ, including our website, mobile applications, software and associated services.

By creating an account or using Preez IQ, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Preez IQ

Preez IQ is an AI-powered business intelligence and lead generation platform designed to assist UK sales professionals in identifying potential commercial opportunities using publicly available information, licensed business data and artificial intelligence. Preez IQ provides information to support business decisions. It does not guarantee commercial success or sales outcomes.

2. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of your business (where applicable)
  • Use the Platform only for lawful business-to-business (B2B) purposes
  • Not use the Platform to contact consumers (individuals) for marketing purposes

3. Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • Keeping your password confidential
  • All activity carried out using your account

You must notify us immediately at support@preeziq.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Subscription and Billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Our current tiers are: Free, Lite (£29/month), Pro (£49/month) and Corporate (£99/month). Subscriptions:

  • Are billed monthly or annually in advance
  • Renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • May be upgraded or downgraded at any time
  • Can be cancelled at any time through your account dashboard

Unless otherwise stated, subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun. See our Refund Policy in the Trust Centre for details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • Contact individuals for consumer marketing without a valid legal basis under UK GDPR and PECR
  • Send unsolicited communications in breach of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003
  • Interfere with platform security or other users' access
  • Attempt to reverse engineer our software or AI models
  • Scrape, copy or redistribute data obtained from Preez IQ
  • Use automated bots or scripts without our prior written consent
  • Upload malicious software or harmful code
  • Engage in any unlawful activity under the laws of England and Wales

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where misuse is suspected or confirmed, and to report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.

6. AI-Generated Information

Preez IQ uses Artificial Intelligence to analyse business information and generate insights, scripts and recommendations. AI-generated content:

  • May contain inaccuracies or be out of date
  • Should not be relied upon as legal, financial or professional advice
  • Should always be independently verified before commercial decisions are made
  • Is intended to support human decision-making, not replace it

You acknowledge that AI systems are probabilistic in nature and may occasionally produce incomplete or incorrect information. You remain responsible for how AI-generated outputs are used in your sales and marketing activities.

7. Business Data and Data Sources

Preez IQ obtains business intelligence from:

  • Companies House public registry
  • Publicly accessible business websites and professional directories
  • Licensed commercial business datasets
  • Information you provide in your sales profile

All data used by Preez IQ relates to businesses and professional contacts in their business capacity. We do not target or process private consumer data. We do not guarantee that information will always be current, complete or accurate.

8. Data Protection and UK GDPR Compliance

Preez IQ processes personal data in accordance with the following legal framework:

  • UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR)
  • Data Protection Act 2018
  • Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR)
  • The six data protection principles set out in Article 5 UK GDPR: lawfulness, fairness and transparency; purpose limitation; data minimisation; accuracy; storage limitation; and integrity and confidentiality

We act as Data Controller for user account data and as a processor of publicly available business intelligence. Our lawful bases for processing are: contractual necessity, legitimate interests, and legal obligation. Full details are set out in our Privacy Policy in the Trust Centre.

9. Your Data Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right to be informed — to know how your data is collected and used
  • Right of access — to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification — to request correction of inaccurate information
  • Right to erasure — to request deletion of your data in certain circumstances
  • Right to restrict processing — to ask us to limit how we use your data
  • Right to data portability — to receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
  • Right to object — to object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing
  • Rights related to automated decision-making — not to be subject to solely automated decisions with significant effects

To exercise any of these rights, please contact support@preeziq.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

10. Your Responsibilities Under Data Protection Law

When using Preez IQ to generate contact lists and outreach materials, you are responsible as a Data Controller for your own marketing activities. This means you must:

  • Establish a valid lawful basis under UK GDPR before contacting any individual
  • Comply with PECR before sending unsolicited electronic marketing to individuals
  • Provide a clear and accessible opt-out mechanism in all marketing communications
  • Maintain a suppression list of individuals who have opted out of communications
  • Check against the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) before making unsolicited sales calls
  • Not use business contact data obtained from Preez IQ to contact individuals as consumers

Preez IQ is not liable for how you use contact information obtained through our platform in your own marketing or sales activities. If in doubt, seek independent legal advice.

11. AI and Automated Processing

Where AI is used to analyse data and generate outputs:

  • AI assists users by generating recommendations, summaries, scripts and scores
  • Final decisions remain the responsibility of the user
  • Preez IQ does not make legally binding automated decisions that produce significant effects on individuals
  • Where AI scoring or profiling is used (e.g. opportunity scores), this is to support your commercial decision-making only

12. International Data Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, Preez IQ ensures appropriate safeguards are in place, including:

  • UK government adequacy decisions for approved countries
  • UK International Data Transfer Agreements (IDTAs) or equivalent standard contractual clauses
  • Regular review of transfer mechanisms to ensure continued compliance with UK GDPR Chapter V

13. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

  • User account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus up to 90 days post-cancellation
  • Platform usage logs are retained for up to 12 months for security and improvement purposes
  • You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@preeziq.com

14. User Content

You retain ownership of information you upload to the Platform. By uploading information you confirm:

  • You own the content or have permission to upload it
  • It does not infringe another person's rights
  • It does not contain unlawful material

You grant Preez IQ a limited licence to process your uploaded information solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.

15. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, designs, logos, AI models, workflows, databases and Platform content remain the intellectual property of Preez IQ unless otherwise stated. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

16. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or commercially sensitive information obtained through use of the Platform. This obligation does not apply to information that is publicly available or required to be disclosed by law.

17. Platform Availability

We aim to provide uninterrupted access but cannot guarantee continuous availability. We may suspend services for:

  • Planned maintenance and software improvements
  • Emergency security updates
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Where planned maintenance affects service availability, we will endeavour to provide advance notice.

18. Security

Preez IQ implements industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to individuals, we will notify the ICO within 72 hours and affected users without undue delay as required by UK GDPR Article 33 and 34.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Preez IQ shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profits, revenue or business
  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Reliance on AI-generated outputs
  • Inaccurate or out-of-date third-party data
  • Your failure to comply with data protection law in your own marketing activities

Our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

20. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Preez IQ against claims, losses and costs arising from:

  • Unlawful use of the Platform
  • Breach of these Terms
  • Your non-compliance with UK GDPR, PECR or any other applicable law
  • Misuse of data or AI outputs obtained through the Platform
  • Infringement of third-party rights

21. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account where:

  • These Terms are breached
  • Unlawful activity is suspected or confirmed
  • Subscription payments remain unpaid
  • Continued use presents a security risk to the Platform or other users

Where possible, we will notify you before taking action. On termination, your access to the Platform will cease and data will be handled in accordance with our Data Retention Policy.

22. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with third-party services including AI providers, payment processors and external data providers. We are not responsible for the availability, content or data practices of third-party services. Where third parties process personal data on our behalf, they are bound by data processing agreements consistent with UK GDPR.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Where changes are material, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email or prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

24. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. We encourage users to contact us in the first instance to attempt to resolve any dispute informally.

AI Transparency Statement

Preez IQ uses Artificial Intelligence to assist users in researching businesses, identifying sales opportunities and generating summaries.

AI-generated outputs are intended to support — not replace — human judgement. Users should independently verify important information before relying upon it for commercial or legal decisions.

Preez IQ does not use AI to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without appropriate human oversight.
